Beaded gold edges from the Georgian period (among others) is a technique that takes an admirably skilled jeweler to create. Termed granulation, the method is to form tiny orbs of gold that are adhered without solder!

Refined and flattering, these two part earrings glow with four topaz gemstones. Two ovals and two pear or teardrop shapes form a mid length earring.

With a total weight of 6.5 carats, the topaz gemstones radiate with pale amber and golden sunlight rays hues. Each is surrounded by beaded granulation with rub over, closed backed settings in 15k gold.
