This stunning antique Victorian 9ct Gold Suffragette heart pendant is Circa 1900.
Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery popularly consisted of Violet Green and White colours which were chosen to counter the stereotypes put forward by opponents that they were mannish or shrieking! Green is for Give, white is for Women and violet is for Votes!
The beautiful pendant is adorned with a large violet heart shaped Amethyst which is 20ct in size and accompanied by a small Pearl and rich green Peridot.
